During December 2006, Leighton Homes made a substantial donation to the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation in Brisbane.

The auction item was put up and personally signed by Darren Lockyer, current Australian Kangaroos and Brisbane Bronco's Rugby League Captain, with all proceeds going to the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.

Darren personally presented the item to Leighton Home's Bob Lees and son.
